David T Renaud, MSW, RSW
Registered Social Worker
Our problems are rarely located only in our heads, which is why I see importance in addressing the cognitive, emotional, somatic and social aspects of the problems we encounter. To do this, I utilize a range of therapies, each designed to address one of these aspects.
Hi there, I’m David! I am originally from the territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation of the Anishinaabek Peoples, and today gratefully acknowledge my living in the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. I’m passionate about helping people understand and navigate their inner worlds, and have been accompanying people on these journeys since 2010. I view these expeditions as essential not just for our individual happiness and well-being, but also for our movement toward a world that is more kind, just, and humane for all. My education includes a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of British Columbia (2014), together with undergraduate studies at the Universities of Waterloo (2011) and Guelph (2008). Over the years I’ve completed additional training in a range of mindfulness, emotional, somatic and attachment-based therapeutic approaches.
