Welcome, I’m a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and I studied Counseling Psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) with a specialization in Somatic Psychotherapy. I have worked in a variety of Community Mental Health settings including Project Open Hand, serving the HIV and Breast Cancer communities, as well as at Conard House, which provides permanent supportive housing to adults. I am currently opening a Private Practice at Healing Realms, where I will be seeing individual Adults and Adolescents, as well as providing Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy.
How I work with clients
I specialize in providing trauma-informed psychodynamic psychotherapy to the LGBTQQIAAP, Queer, Poly, Gender Non-Conforming and Kinky communities. I also have a passion for Social Justice issues and exploring how systems of oppression impact marginalized communities. I use a harm reduction approach for those who use substances, and I am also enthusiastic about creating a safe space to explore and integrate themes that may arise during the course of a psychedelic journey. I employ a holistic approaches as well as evidence based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing for those who are facing symptoms of depression, anxiety, and low self-esteem. I am also proud to be a member of the Health at Every Size (HAES) community, and strive to provide competent care for all bodies.
