Erica Saunders, LCSW

Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Tucson AZ
I believe in the significance of the mind/body connection and integrating somatic experiences into therapy, through movement, mindfulness and other methods of aligning our whole being. For some, the additional incorporation of psychedelic experiences can be extremely beneficial to the therapeutic experience. I am happy to explore new insights or curiosities you may have based on your own personal experiences that happen outside of the therapeutic relationship. I am additionally available for Tele-health distance counseling.
I honor what makes us unique and appreciate each individual experience. I’ve worked with diverse groups in diverse settings over the past 15+ years as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). I value a person-centered approach, with focuses on mindfulness-cognitive therapy, strengths-based, solution-focused and systemic strategies. The most successful therapeutic approaches however, are the ones you find most helpful. I have many years of experience working with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, issues around life transitions and identify-formation (including sexual orientation, relationship preferences and/or gender identity), grief, substance abuse, co-occurring disorders and childhood trauma.
