Francesca Aborn, LCSW

Therapist
New York City NY
I offer intensive, short-term therapy containers designed for deep, focused healing. These high-impact sessions help clients move through trauma, emotional blocks, and stuck patterns with clarity and momentum—no need for endless weekly sessions. As an LCSW-certified therapist trained in EMDR, Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), EFT, guided visualization, and informed by IFS, my approach is holistic, experiential, and trauma-informed. I blend evidence-based methods with intuitive, somatic, and creative tools to support real, lasting change. I work best with individuals, couples, and groups who feel they’ve “tried everything” but still feel stuck—those navigating trauma recovery, transitions, motherhood, relationship ruptures, or a deeper return to self.
As an LCSW-certified therapist trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), guided visualizations and informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS), Francesca provides holistic therapy for individuals, couples, and groups. She helps clients explore root issues, heal past traumas, develop personalized coping strategies, and cultivate a nurturing inner dialogue to foster deeper connections with themselves and others. Clients leave her sessions with a newfound sense of empowerment, greater emotional freedom, and tangible progress toward lasting change. Francesca is the creator of the BRAAVE technique, a unique approach inspired by EMDR, IFS, and other healing modalities. BRAAVE uses a powerful acronym as a guide through meditation and visualization, helping people unlock and process difficult emotions in a fresh, creative way. Francesca is also the host of Embracefull, a podcast focusing on meditations for postpartum.
1. Full-Dose Ketamine + Integration (6–8 sessions) This is ideal for those seeking deep, immersive healing and is ready for the time commitment required. Dosing sessions are 3 hours long and take place in collaboration with a medical provider. A 50-minute integration session follows within a few days to help process insights, emotional breakthroughs, and nervous system shifts. EMDR may be incorporated to deepen integration and resolve lingering trauma patterns. 2. Hybrid Program: 2 KAP Sessions + 3 EMDR Sessions A powerful combination for those who want both expanded awareness and targeted trauma resolution. This program includes two full-dose ketamine sessions (3 hours each) with integration, and three EMDR sessions to address specific memories, blocks, or internal conflicts in a structured and grounded way. 3. Microdosing + EMDR (8 sessions) Designed for those seeking more gradual emotional processing. This series combines 90-minute sessions with the supportive, subtle effects of ketamine microdosing. The extended session length allows time for EMDR, integration work, and somatic processing—all while remaining grounded and present.
