At Isha Health, we work collaboratively with our clients to provide a personalized and comprehensive ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) experience. Our goal is to create a safe, supportive, and compassionate environment that facilitates healing and growth. Our approach begins with a thorough psychological and medical evaluation to assess clients' mental health status, medical history, and current medication use. Based on the evaluation, our experienced board-certified physicians and licensed therapists work with clients to develop a personalized treatment plan that addresses their unique needs and concerns. During the KAP session, clients take low-dose, sub-lingual ketamine lozenges. The KAP session lasts approximately 90 minutes, during which clients may experience an altered state of consciousness and/or a psychedelic-like journey into deeper parts of themselves. After the KAP session, clients participate in psychotherapy sessions either with their own therapist or with our KAP therapist to help integrate the insights and experiences gained during the KAP session. Our therapists are informed by a variety of therapeutic traditions such as psychodynamic psychotherapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and trauma-informed care. Throughout the entire KAP experience, we prioritize safety, compassion, and ethical practices. Our clinicians are experienced in working with diverse populations and issues, including multi-culture issues, psychosomatic issues, and first responders. We strive to maintain ongoing communication and collaboration with our clients, providing support and guidance throughout the KAP experience. At Isha Health, we are committed to helping clients find healing and growth through the compassionate and ethical use of expanded states of consciousness.
Welcome to Isha Health, a San Francisco-based ketamine therapy clinic dedicated to helping individuals with depression, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and Anxiety find healing and growth. Our online ketamine therapy services are available in multiple states, and we use low-dose, sub-lingual ketamine lozenges under the guidance of trained and licensed psychotherapists and doctors. Our compassionate and ethical use of expanded states of consciousness allows us to contribute to the ongoing development of clinical practice in the field of psychedelic-assisted therapies. Our ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) provides a safe and legal medicine that works in two ways to help clients heal. It gently brings clients into an altered state of consciousness where processing difficult material may become easier, and clients may also experience a psychedelic-like journey into deeper parts of themselves. Ketamine also has a positive impact on the brain itself. By targeting the neurotransmitter glutamate, ketamine can cause the brain to undergo a period of openness called neuroplasticity, where new, healthier thoughts and beliefs can be incorporated with therapeutic support leading to positive outcomes not seen through either psychotherapy alone or with anti-depressant medication. Our board-certified physicians and licensed therapists provide a comprehensive KAP experience that includes psychological and medical evaluation, monitoring, and psychotherapy informed by a variety of traditions such as psychodynamic psychotherapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and trauma-informed care. We are also experienced in working with multi-culture issues, psychosomatic issues, and first responders. All of our clinicians have been trained and experienced in providing KAP.
