Biography

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) providing therapy services for individuals and families. My private practice is the culmination of many years of work with diverse clients as they walk through the suffering that is a part of being human.

I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) through the International Association of Trauma Professionals. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement De-Sensitization and Reprocessing), Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT) and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy. I take a harm reduction approach to helping clients explore their relationship to substances and medicine. I draw from different modalities and approaches as needed, respecting each client’s individuality. Mindfulness, body work and the exploration of “parts” of the self all inform my approach. I guide my clients toward greater integration and development of their innate healing capacity. I am collaborative and gentle in my approach. You are always in control of your treatment and how we work together.

Whether you wish to address past hurts, find your way through a difficult time, integrate experiences and insights from non-ordinary states of consciousness, or develop a deeper understanding about yourself and your place in the universe, I would love to provide a safe and supportive space for curious and compassionate co-exploration.

How I work with clients

Above all, therapy is a relationship. How we are together can illuminate a great deal about your relationship to yourself, to others, and how you find meaning about your place in the world. Using mindful attention and playful curiosity gives us new possibilities for greater connection, integration, and authenticity. My primary goal is that you feel safe to explore and accept your whole self so that you can find the resilience to build a life worth living.

I draw from different modalities that will support your exploration with non-judgmental compassion. I find body-based and mindfulness approaches to be a particularly rich area for exploration and the integration of insight into daily life. My experience has taught me that all people have a tendency toward growth under supportive conditions and that even challenges that seem perplexing or insurmountable have an internal logic. Think of me as an “educated fellow traveler” who will collaborate with you and will respect that you are the expert about your own experience.
