John Gillis, MD

Psychedelic Medicine Physician
Colorado Springs CO
I work in partnership with psychedelic trained psychotherapists to administer ketamine as an adjunct to psychotherapy.
I have been board certified in family medicine since 2001. Practiced in southwest Colorado with the Indian Health Service for three years prior to moving to Alaska where I practiced for 15 years. Returned to Colorado in 2019 to change course into the full time practice of psychedelic medicine. I practice ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) in partnership with psychedelic-trained psychotherapists using primarily intramuscular (IM) injection and occasionally sublingual administration of ketamine. I completed the MAPS MDMA-assisted therapy training in 2021 and plan to add MDMA and psilocybin therapy as they become available.
