In a world often marked by disconnection, both from others and ourselves, I use the therapeutic relationship as a vessel to explore how we relate to our surroundings and to ourselves. It’s within these connections that we find the roots of change, growth, and healing. I encourage clients that I work with to bring just themselves to sessions - themselves in their rawness and fullness, not needing to apply the filters and masks which we so often wear in our engagement with the outside world.
I recognize that every person’s struggles and aspirations are unique and deeply personal, and I tailor my approach accordingly. That being said, I operate from a model of change which is based on insight, self-compassion, and encouraging individuation. As such, I am less directive, behavioral, and educational in my sessions, and would not be a fit for someone looking for that kind of approach. I strive to transcend surface-level solutions, and look towards delving deeper into your psyche and emotions.
What truly ignites my passion is the opportunity to the core of human experience, to connect with the essence of every person I encounter, regardless of their background or struggles. My purpose is to guide individuals on their journey toward profound transformation and self-discovery.
Hello and welcome. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor based in New York. Online therapy is available for residents of New York, New Jersey and Florida. I specialize in treating trauma, addiction, substance use, and more.
I strive to offer a warm, non-judgmental space where you can process feelings and have the space to develop a different relationship towards yourself. Together we will work through mental health challenges, gain more understanding about the underlying causes of problems, build self-esteem, and create healthy habits so you can live a more meaningful life.
When we work together, I will draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches. Don’t expect a one-size-fits-all therapy approach! We will select approaches that address your experiences and challenges. These may include:
