Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Reno NV
Having grown frustrated with the standard practice of therapy, I have abandoned the rigid frameworks of my therapeutic practice for something I believe more holistic. Logistically, I have ditched the stuffy office and am willing to travel both locally and nationally or meet via telehealth to extend my service. I continue to meet with individuals, with couples, and even with families. As I prefer not to have our meetings influenced or controlled by finances, I am no longer contracting with insurance panels and ask only that my clients pay me as close to $100 per session as each can afford.
Formerly an ordained minister, I left that career behind to pursue the healing work of therapy. I am currently a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist by the State of Nevada, in private practice since 2013. Additionally, I have been privileged to teach students at Truckee Meadows Community College since 2016 on the topic of substance use. Appreciating the depth of therapeutic experience that can occur through psychedelic medicines, I completed training for ketamine-assisted psychotherapy in April 2018 as well as earning a post-graduate certificate in Psychedelic Assisted Therapy and Research at California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) in 2019.
