Biography
Formerly an ordained minister, I left that career behind to pursue the healing work of therapy. I am currently a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist by the State of Nevada, in private practice since 2013. Additionally, I have been privileged to teach students at Truckee Meadows Community College since 2016 on the topic of substance use.
Appreciating the depth of therapeutic experience that can occur through psychedelic medicines, I completed training for ketamine-assisted psychotherapy in April 2018, and am currently a student at California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS), participating in the Certificate of Psychedelic Therapy and Research program.
How I work with clients
Approaching clients from a systemic perspective, I attempt to address conflict within individuals and relationships, offering alternatives to aggression and internal stress by acknowledging the authenticity of each person and finding healthy means of communication and expression.
Through my certificate program at CIIS, I will also be volunteering with clients in alternate states of consciousness, assisting them in the journeying and integration phases of treatment.
