Kurt Pope, MA, LPCC

Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor
Minneapolis MN
I maintain a compassionate setting for individuals to explore, understand, and create meaning for themselves in a collaborative and fruitful fashion. Different approaches to our distress are at times necessary in order to reconcile new stages of development and new parts of our selves. Engaging with unknown aspects of our psyche allow for growth to take place in an encouraging environment. Experience can be understood from an internal and external perspective. I integrate theoretical views that include Adlerian, Jungian, neuroscientific, relational, Person-Centered, and Transpersonal orientations so clients may create a clear image of what they are experiencing. Clients and I utilize expressive therapeutic techniques such as art, metaphor, and dream work to move from intellectual analysis to a richer, more direct experience.
I am located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I graduated with a Master of Arts degree in Adlerian Psychotherapy and Counseling. With a diverse background ranging from community-based adult rehabilitation to depth psychotherapy, I have worked with individuals on all levels of experiential consciousness.
