Madison take's time in establishing rapport and building trust in the therapeutic relationship so that deep and meaningful work is able to come naturally. In therapy, Madison is direct and light-hearted, while maintaining a safe space for collaboration, honesty, and transparency. Madison views the client/clinician relationship as equals as she walks alongside you on your therapeutic journey. For this reason, Madison develops the treatment plan openly with the client and decisions are made together.
Madison Hollis (she/her/hers) is a LPC located in Austin, Texas. She primarily works with adults ages 18-40 experiencing issues associated with trauma, depression, anxiety, family dysfunction, anger management, and life transitions. Madison also enjoys exploring spirituality and existential topics with client's who may feel stuck in their identity development or life path. Madison is a sex-positive therapist and has experience in working with challenges associated with LGBTQIA+ identity, non-monogamous relationships, and kink. Madison earned her BA in Psychology from the University of Arizona with a minor in Family Studies and Human Development. She went on to earn her MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Denver. Outside of private practice, Madison enjoys dancing at live music events, traveling with her partner, and loving her two cats.
