Meghan Gilliland, LCSW

Psychotherapist
Tucson AZ
I see clients over Zoom for remote psychotherapy sessions. I offer services in Arizona, Massachusetts, and Oregon. Some of the issues I work with most often are: Anxiety, depression, panic, OCD, PTSD, Complex Trauma “Heal the Healer” therapy for therapists and other helping professionals Healing childhood wounds that negatively impact relationships and parenting Trauma that has contributed to chronic health or pain issues Building confidence and self-compassion Learning to set boundaries and prioritize self care Recent traumatic events Looking for a new approach when traditional talk therapy only has gone so far Combining EMDR and KAP therapy
I began working as a case manager for survivors of domestic abuse and sexual assault in 2005, and this experience put me on a path to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. My first job as a psychotherapist was to provide in-home therapy to a wide range of populations, including young children in foster care, court mandated parents, and vulnerable older adults. I then moved on to working in a residential treatment center with teenagers and adults in treatment for eating disorders. In all of these different settings, I observed how trauma was often the common thread that brought people in for services. This led me to seek more specialized training in trauma therapies, as I became interested in treating the root cause rather than the symptoms. I started my private practice in 2019 and have been providing trauma-focused online therapy since that time.
I support a variety of Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy options including low dose EMDR reprocessing sessions, remote guided psychedelic dose KAP sessions, self-guided KAP sessions, and preparation and integration sessions.
