In my integration work with clients, my first goal is to establish trust. Trust is necessary for clients to feel safe and open to share their experiences. I also model transparent communication with my clients. This is done as a part of establishing trust and in support of a client centered relationship. I bring an equity perspective in my work with clients and deep understanding of how current systems of care have created harm. I do my best to not replicate the harm. I listen and reflect while encouraging my clients to fully embrace their own inner healing intelligence.
Through my own need to heal from past traumas and systems of oppression, I have been called to help others in their healing journeys. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia. For over two decades I have supported individuals, families and communities create positive lasting change. I earned my Master’s degree from the University of Chicago. I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. I completed my training and certification in Psychedelic Assisted Therapies and Research in 2021 through the California Institute for Integral Studies. I received training in Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy through Fluence and the Psychedelic Research and Training Institute. I
