Biography
Dr. Burke is a psychiatrist who completed residency at UCLA – San Fernando Valley and an addiction fellowship at UCLA – Semel Institute for Neuroscience. His work with treatment-resistant conditions and appreciation for the benefit of non-ordinary states inspired him to begin working with ketamine-assisted psychotherapy at California Center for Psychedelic Therapyand on a MAPS-sponsored clinical trial of MDMA-assisted therapy for PTSD, and he has also been trained in psilocybin-assisted therapy for clinical trials. He is currently enrolled in an integrative fellowship at the Integrative Psychiatry Institute to expand holistic treatment options.
How I work with clients
I view mental health treatment as a process of moving towards wholeness, and my role as a clinician is to help facilitate this development. At California Center for Psychedelic therapy, I offer ketamine-assisted psychotherapy as well as individualized psychiatric services.
