I view mental health treatment as a process of moving towards wholeness, and my role as a clinician is to help facilitate this development. At Inner Path Psychiatry, I offer Ketamine-Assisted Therapy for individuals with Major Depression, Bipolar Depression, PTSD and Anxiety.
Dr. Burke is a trauma-informed psychiatrist specializing in psychedelic therapy. He completed residency at UCLA – San Fernando Valley and an addiction fellowship at UCLA – Semel Institute for Neuroscience. His work with many patients who did not benefit from conventional treatments combined with his appreciation for the healing potential of facilitated psychotherapies inspired him to begin working with psychedelics in clinical and research settings. After his fellowship, he worked for two years offering Ketamine-Assisted Therapy at California Center for Psychedelic Therapy and as a therapist and site physician in Phase 2 and Phase 3 clinical trials of MDMA-Assisted Therapy for PTSD. During this time he also completed an integrative psychiatry fellowship at the Integrative Psychiatry Institute. In late 2022 he moved from Los Angeles to his hometown of Sioux City, IA and opened Inner Path Psychiatry, where he offers Ketamine-Assisted Therapy for those living in Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota.
