My approach may be described as an “assisted self-study”. I am here to provide a safe and supportive space for you, and guide you into mindful self-introspection. The idea of being mindful is slowing down your habitual mind, being aware of the present moment, immediate felt experience, and allowing the unconscious to speak. I believe that I am not here to heal you but to provide space, guidance and support for your healing to happen organically from within yourself. I am hoping that together, we can go deeply into your core beliefs and attitudes and uncover where you are blocking yourself from embracing life and your authentic self.
My personal experience with psychedelics in an integral part of my professional biography. Through my own realization of the power and healing potential of these substances, as well as my meditation practice, I came to a decision to pursue a career as a psychotherapist. I already had a B.S. in Psychology degree from a traditional university (CUNY). I further pursued a degree at the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology (now Sofia University) as I saw this institution to be at the cutting edge of the study of psychology and psychotherapy. After graduating in 2011, I continue to study holistic, experiential, body oriented and mindfulness based approaches to psychotherapy. I am lucky to live in the San Francisco Bay Area where I have access to this kind of teachings.
