Psychotherapist
Plantation FL
I offer a healing intensive model to treatment for individuals looking for mind-body and somatic-based therapy to heal relational trauma wounds. In this space, we can go narrow and deep, soft and slow, using transformational tools like EMDR, Ketamine-Assisted EMDR therapy, Psychedelic-Assisted therapy and somatic psychotherapy. Intensives range from 75 minutes up to 6 hours in length, depending on our treatment goals and focus. In our time together, we will focus the first few sessions on exploring your patterns, identifying the wounds, and work with the body to begin to map out the nervous system responses. We work to tend and befriend the mind, the emotions, and the body - honoring its strategies rooted in survival and begin to identify new patterns and ways of being. Once we determine our path, we journey together using a combination of EMDR and Somatic approaches. We often explore topics such as: shadow work, ego parts work, inner child work, and inner resourcing before moving into reprocessing trauma and old wounds. Many clients are interested in bringing in Ketamine to assist with trauma reprocessing phase of our work together, either by way of a psychedelic or psycholytic (low dose) medicine session. Our goal is to honor and identify the wound and then work with the body's innate healing intelligence that shifts from maladaptive to adaptive. We then move into integration, an ever unfolding and profound part of the healing process.
Hello I'm Rachel!
I offer a warm, courageous, and supportive space where you can explore your inner world with grounded presence. My approach is holistic, weaving together somatic therapies, EMDR, trauma-informed care, ego state/parts work, and neuroscience to support your journey of self-discovery and transformation.
Since 2015, I’ve helped individuals and relationships cultivate deeper self-awareness and self-compassion, drawing from psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness, and somatic practices. My training includes a master’s degree in Social Work from New York University; EMDR Certification and currently a Consultant-In-Training; Ketamine-Assisted Therapy from Journey Clinical, Fluence, Psychedelic Support, and Starlight Psychedelics; SomatoSymbolic Processing (SSP) Somatic therapy, and a Registered Kundalini Yoga Teacher (RYT). I integrate dreamwork, archetypes, and eastern traditions to illuminate unconscious patterns, while neuroscience offers practical tools for shifting what no longer serves you.

In-person and virtual services include:
- Healing Intensives: Integrative by nature, healing intensives may feature: EMDR therapy, Somatic Psychotherapy, Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy, or Ketamine-Assisted EMDR Therapy along with meditation, breath work, aromatherapy practices and additional tools of journaling can be utilized for optimal integration, depending on the clients interest and treatment goals. Adjunctive services may also be added to healing intensive package, provided by an outside licensed provider. Session length: 2-6 hours, and/or multiple days.
- Ketamine-Assisted EMDR Therapy: A novel treatment approach, we utilize a small amount of sublingual ketamine is self-administered by the client during an EMDR reprocessing session to facilitate the adaptive resolution of traumatic memories. Ketamine helps create a sense of emotional safety, allowing clients to approach these memories with less fear and self judgment. Session length: 75 to 90 minutes.
- Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy: In the psychedelic method, a relatively higher dose of ketamine is administered, leading to a profound, altered state of consciousness. This experience often includes vivid imagery, deep emotional exploration, and a sense of being disconnected from the body. These expansive, non-ordinary states can offer powerful insights and help clients access unconscious material that may be difficult to reach through traditional talk therapy alone. Clients are encouraged to explore and reflect on their inner experience, followed by an integration process to make sense of the insights gained. Psychedelic KAP sessions typically last between 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
- Psychedelic Integration: These sessions are tailored to support clients who are considering or have experienced psychedelic journeys outside of our practice. Prior to their psychedelic journey, we collaborate with clients to cultivate a mindset conducive to healing and growth. Afterward, in integration sessions, we work together to process and integrate insights gained, empowering clients to incorporate their experiences into their personal journey of self-discovery and healing. Our goal is to provide comprehensive support, ensuring clients feel equipped to navigate their psychedelic experiences with understanding and resilience.
