I strive to create a safe space where clients feel seen, heard, and accepted as they are. My therapeutic approach is characterized by warmth, compassion, understanding, and humor. I aim to meet my clients where they are at, and tailor the techniques I use to meet their individual needs. I use a variety of modalities including mindfulness, CBT, and expressive art therapies.
I earned my Ph.D. from the Educational Psychology Department at the University of Utah. I have experience assessing and treating children, adolescents, and adults with neurodevelopmental disorders (ASD, ADHD, specific learning disorders), who have experienced trauma, and who exhibit severe behavioral, social, and emotional deficits. More recently I have become interested in the use of psychedelics in the therapeutic process and will be pursuing training in psychedelic assisted therapy. I believe the use of psychedelics can be a powerful tool to access inner wisdom and facilitate self-growth. I am passionate to learn more about how to utilize psychedelics in the healing process. I would be happy to explore my clients’ personal experiences with psychedelics and help them develop skills such as mindfulness or meditation practices in order to aid the integration process.
