Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Long Branch NJ
My role as a therapist is to provide a safe and trusting space for clients to feel as though they can fully be themselves, without fear of judgement. I work in a holistic manner taking into account integration of Mind, Body, Spirit, and Soul. I utilize various evidence-based modalities including EMDR, CBT, IFS, and Mindfulness as well as various other approaches related to yoga, Reiki, and breath work. My aim for therapy is to create a trauma-informed, strengths-based environment to integrate any psychedelic experiences you have had or intend to have into other domains of your life. These experiences can be illuminating, an opportunity for growth, with lasting and meaningful insights.
Namaste. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Yoga and Meditation Instructor, Art Educator, Health and Wellness Coach through Integrative Nutrition (IIN), and Advocate. I am a Trauma-Informed, Holistic Therapist and Yoga Teacher. I received my Master’s in Social Work and Art Education from the University of Tennessee. In my early career, I was an Art Teacher. I’ve always had a love for teaching and helping others. It made sense to combine those passions with my love of art. I decided to head back to school to pursue a degree in Clinical Social Work. I had this vision of a practice in which I could help people heal, learn, grow, and become more empowered by integrating their body, mind, heart, and spirit. After years of working at a Community Mental Health Agency, I choose to open my own Private Practice. I continue to embrace learning in all capacities through continuing education and trainings. I became interested in the use of psychedelics as a therapeutic tool years ago and am glad to be a part of the growing recognition of its benefits.
