The two primary models I use in working with clients is psychedelic integration counseling and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy. Integration counseling as I practice it is similar to psychotherapy, but with the mutual understanding that your use of these medicines may play an important and prominent role in your growth and well-being. We unpack your experiences and seek to gain tangible insights from them which you can integrate into how you understand and live your daily life. Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy typically involves a combination of intramuscular injection (IM) sessions and lozenge sessions. Ketamine used in the dosage range we typically aim for induces a profound experience, lasting roughly one hour which is often described as a peak, mystical, unitive, or cosmic experience. I am a licensed psychotherapist practicing in Washington State (greater Seattle area) where I have been in practice since 2011. I have earned my Masters degree in counseling psychology from the Seattle School of Theology and Psychology and completed a Chemical Dependency Counseling certificate program at Whatcom Community College. I have experience working with all ages with clients as young as three which has enhanced my understanding of the role of early childhood experience in the development of the personality. I have studied psychedelics for over a decade and through both research and experience seen the transformative power these mind-manifesting substances can have. Personally, as someone who has suffered from severe, chronic migraines since early childhood and struggled with crippling existential dread about my own mortality as a young adult, psychedelics have had a profound impact on my health and how I understand and live my life. I am grateful for the opportunity to come along side others and play a supportive role in their own transformative process. I also offer Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), currently the only legal psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy available in the United States. And have conducted over 200 KAP sessions along with training various professional in the KAP model.
