Jude O’Higgins integrates clinical psychedelic chaplaincy, end-of-life doula work, education, and anthropology, focusing on spirituality, cultural practices surrounding death, and the "shadow" aspects of culture. A former anthropology professor, she transitioned to death work after caring for her dying father. She completed her spiritual care residency at Kaiser Permanente and has served as a chaplain in hospice and pediatric care. Currently, she is the resident spiritual care provider at The Lotus Center for Healing & Wellness, specializing in psychedelic treatment integration. She also leads drum journeys, grief and integration groups, and trains End-of-Life Doulas. With a PhD in education focusing on trauma-informed policies, she researches cultural grief rituals and consults on compassionate end-of-life care. Jude is a cisgender woman of Irish and mestizo lineage, descending from a long line of healers.
